Ten Bible-based Affirmation iPhone Wallpapers - Pink Aesthetic
We forget, sometimes don't we?
That we are more than the sum total of our successes;
our abilities;
our accomplishments.
We forget that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
We forget that we are deeply loved, chosen and worthy.
We can see how God is working and shaping and doing His refining work in the lives of the women we love, and we are so good at reminding them;
our daughters,
our mothers,
our friends,
that they are more than what the world, or even what they, think they are. And we remind them that God will be faithful to complete the good work that He has started in them.
But when it comes to believing those things about ourselves, we are blinded by our faults and our insufficiencies. It's hard for us to see past them. It is hard for us to believe that the same God who is making our loved ones pure and holy, is doing the same thing for us, as well.
And while I am not for one second trying to brush off, or make light of our sin; while I'm not saying that we are sufficient in and of ourselves, or even capable of holiness without Jesus' forgiveness, I do want to remind you that the work Jesus did on the cross was sufficient. His shed blood has washed you clean. When your Heavenly Father looks at you, He sees you as He sees His own, perfect Son.
So, in case you need a little reminder of just exactly who you are in Christ, remember this;
You were made in His image. He continues to make you holy and pure. And while you are not quite there yet, you really are, being made perfect. You are so very lovely in your Father's eyes.

Though the enemy will try to discourage you; he'll whisper to you and tell you that you are unworthy and unloved; that you are undeserving of forgiveness, cling to your faith in your God. Your faith is your shield.
Ephesians 6:16 In every situation take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

You see, you are deeply loved by Your Heavenly Father. He calls you His Beloved. You are arrayed in His beauty.
Song of Solomon 2:10 "My beloved calls to me, “Arise, my darling. Come away with me, my beautiful one."
Song of Songs 4:7 "You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you."
My friend,
I hope you know this in the depth of your soul.
He really does call you His Beloved.
And I hope that this knowing, changes everything about you.
I hope it gives you eyes to see yourself the way that He sees you.
I hope it makes you want to come to Him,
and sit with Him,
and be with Him.
I hope;
no, I PRAY,
that it makes you want to turn, even more, from your sin.
And I pray this for me, too.
Because the more we turn from our sin,
the more we will understand how beloved we really are.
And there is nothing better than knowing that you belong to Jesus and that He also, belongs to you.
May the Lord richly bless you as you continue to strive to follow Him.
And, as always,
Stay holy, Beloved.
Stay hygge.
